Since its early access launch on March 24, the co-op crime simulator has seen explosive growth. Schedule 1 quickly became a breakout hit on Steam, reaching over 130,000 concurrent players within days — and peaking at more than 414,000 by March 30. The game continues to maintain strong daily numbers, never dropping below 318,000 concurrent players.
Here’s what you can expect in the next update:
Upcoming Features in the April 7 Update:
New Shops:
Boutique Store – Likely focused on upscale items or cosmetics.
Pawn Shop – A potential new avenue for offloading goods and making cash.
Wall Decorations: A new range of cosmetic items to personalize your space.
Wall-Mounted Storage: First teased in a previous post, this feature will allow for shelves and wall-mounted units to store and display items, offering more flexible item management.
"Very Fancy" Surprises: Tyler hinted at additional features that haven't been revealed yet — but they’re expected to be game-changers.

While Tyler originally considered releasing an open beta a day early, he opted to skip it to ensure a smoother launch without any major issues slipping through.
The update arrives amid some turbulence in the game’s community. Schedule 1 is currently under investigation for copyright infringement following claims from Movie Games S.A., the publisher of Drug Dealer Simulator, citing similarities between the two titles. Tyler has yet to publicly address the allegations, but for now, development is moving full steam ahead.
Stay tuned — Schedule 1’s next chapter is about to begin.
